Rental conditions: The client must show local driver's license and at least one credit card in their name. Debit cards cannot be accepted to post deposit, because the refund cannot be made to them. Avis rents on the basis of vehicle lines or categories and does not guarantee a specific make or models. These vehicle lines and/or categories are for guidance purposes only and may change without prior notice. Surcharges for drivers under 25 years of age may apply. Check the conditions in each country. The Avis services will only be performed after the client has have signed Avis’ standard rental agreement. In the event a rental does not occur on the date and at the office indicated on the voucher, the applicable rate shall be that which is in effect at the time and at the office where the rental occurs. Avis reserves the right to refuse to rent to any individuals who does not meet the standard rental requirements or who (a) are under the applicable minimum age; ((b) does not hold a valid driver's license; (c) is unable to meet the credit requirements set out by Avis; or (d) who in the opinion of Avis poses an unacceptable risk. Cancellation and refund policies: If you paid for your reservation with credit card and before the pickup/start date you wish to cancel, you can request a refund, which shall be credited to the same card. Administration fees may be deducted from the prepaid amount. The amount deducted depends on the time elapsed between the payment date and the start of the rental. Contact the regional representative for more information and details regarding these charges. Early return of the rental vehicle shall not entitle the renter to a refund for the unused period. Promotional discount conditions: The discount is exclusive for prepaid bookings. The customer will receive an email notification for each confirmed reservation and will have a maximum of 30 minutes to remit the prepayment. If the prepayment is made/confirmed within this period, the reservation will be automatically canceled for security reasons, and the client will receive a notification of cancellation of the reservation. Up to 20% discount rates on the Jamaica, República Dominicana, Guatemala, Costa Rica y Panamá rate available at participating offices and throughout the promo period. Applicable discount percentages will be indicated at the time of booking. The discount is exclusive to Visa customers and applies to the following fares: Budget (8G and 7F).
