How to Use Visa Business Data Solutions

Requesting Data

Data can be requested by authorized users using any of the following groupings:

Accessing Transaction Data

Transaction data is available with Supplier data where available. Clients can request data for a certain date range along with one of the applicable data groupings, above.

Accessing Enhanced Data

Enhanced data can be pulled for associated transaction data where available. It will contain Airline, Hotel, Car Rental and Purchase enhanced data.

Accessing Company Setup Data

Company demographic data can be pulled with associated employee/cardholder information where available. It will contain Company, Departments, Card Account and Cardholder data.

Accessing Authorization Data API

The Visa Business Data Solutions AUTH Data API is used to get transaction authorization details including both authorization approval and decline, in near real-time. Clients using AUTH data API can easily:

Accessing Self-Registration API

Issuers can use Self-Registration API to simplify the registration process into Partner services that Visa and the issuer offers. Issuer corporate clients will not need to manually enter their registration information—such as name, credit card, billing address and so on. Instead, the Self-Registration API allows Issuers to pass their corporate user's details required for registration. Then, upon reviewing their information and accepting Visa’s Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, complete registration into partner services seamlessly.

Accessing Registered User's Details

Authorized partners can pull the registered user details such as first name, last name, email address, corporate details and so on.

Data Scrubbing For Sensitive Elements

The Visa Business Data Solutions API also supports data scrubbing when sensitive data elements, such as Account Numbers, need to be removed. Data scrubbing is a configurable option for participating issuers in the subscription process.
