Visa Consent Management Service
Authentication Method
Security and Authentication Requirements
Visa Consent Management Service supports both X-Pay Token authentication method and Two-Way SSL for connecting to VDP APIs. Please refer to Two-Way SSL or X-Pay Token documentation for more details.
Client must complete the following documentation to request the activation of Visa Consent Management Service:
- VDP agreement
- Visa Consent Management Service intake form - clients can request the blank Excel template from Consent Product team or their CS partner.
Message Level Encryption
Message Level Encryption (MLE) is required for all Visa Consent Management Service API implementations. MLE provides an enhanced security for message payload by using asymmetric encryption technique (public-key cryptography). You can generate the encryption/decryption key pairs in the Sandbox, Certification, or Production environments. For details, refer to the Message Level Encryption Documentation.
