### Phase 2: Integration

Obtain your [API credentials](https://developer.visa.com/capabilities/visa-secure-remote-commerce/tutorials-and-guides) to test the API with mock data in the Visa Developer Sandbox environment.

Use sample data and publicly available API endpoints to validate functionality.

Once you have your API credentials and understand our [API Fundamentals](https://developer.visa.com/capabilities/visa-secure-remote-commerce/api-fundamentals), review the [Use Cases](https://developer.visa.com/capabilities/visa-secure-remote-commerce/use-cases) to understand what is required to complete your integration.

**Implement Initialize SRC on your checkout page**

As part of your integration, implement Initialize SRC to pre-warm the SRC System. This is a browser-based step. your checkout page must load the Visa Initialize SRC URL inside a hidden, sandboxed iframe. Initialize SRC must be invoked early in the page lifecycle (for example, at page load) to allow sufficient time for device profiling to complete before Checkout is called.

See [Initialize SRC](https://developer.visa.com/capabilities/visa-secure-remote-commerce/introduction-to-visa-click-to-pay-api#section0) for step-by-step integration.

### Phase 3: Testing

Receive formal solution approval from Visa by demonstrating compliance and readiness.

Run formal tests with Visa in the Certification environment to ensure your solution meets all required standards.

There are additional administrative steps you will need to complete before certification.

Initialize SRC is not currently part of the standard certification scope for clients who began implementation before its availability. It will be added to certification artifacts for new clients implementing VPP / passkey-enabled flows.

### Phase 4: Going Live

Once you’ve completed your integration and testing in sandbox and certification, deploy your solution in the live Production environment and complete the required steps to go live.
