New APIs:

• DPS Forward Services: A suite of APIs designed for digital banking platforms that give access to Visa DPS issuer processing capabilities
  • Token Services APIs: These APIs enable you to retrieve tokens associated with a PAN or cardId, and manage their life cycles.
    • Retrieve Tokens by cardId: Use this API to retrieve tokens associated with a specific cardId, or cardId + last4PrimaryAccountNumber.
    • Manage Token Lifecycle: Use this API to manage the life cycle of a token.

New Endpoints:

• Visa Direct Account and Wallet: A service that enables money to be pushed into bank accounts and wallets to complete business payouts, P2P transfers, app withdrawals, and more.

  • Visa Direct Account and Wallet Receive API: Visa Direct Account and Wallet Receive API
    • New Endpoint: Account Balance Notification
      • The purpose of this API is to provide virtual account (i.e. VAN) balance data driven by client's configuration and usage

• Visa Business Data Solutions: Provides a faster and efficient way for participating issuers and their commercial clients to pull their commercial transaction data and make strategic decisions based on data-driven insights.

  • Business Data Transactions API: Commercial Data API will provide the APIs to expose the commercial data

• B2B Virtual Account Payment Method: A suite of APIs that enable the use of virtual accounts for automating supplier payments and other employee spend.

  • Payment Service API: The Payment web service is used for processing payments and sending payment remittance information to the appropriate suppliers.
    • New Endpoints: Get Payment Details, Process Payment

• Visa Global ATM Locator: Enables cardholders to search for Visa/Plus ATM locations around the world, via the Web or from their internet-enabled mobile devices.

  • Locate ATMs API: The ATM Locator service lets cardholders search and find a convenient ATM when they need cash from over 1 million ATMs in over 200 countries.
    • New Endpoints:
      • ATMs Inquiry: Retrieve all the details of all the ATMs near a given area based on the searching criteria
      • Totals Inquiry: Return the number and statistic info of ATMs nearest to a given location based on the searching criteria

• Token Service Provider SaaS:

  • Issuer Webservice API – Inbound
    • LCM from Issuer: This message is used by the Issuer to request that the TSP perform a particular lifecycle management action on a single token or on all tokens linked to a supplied RPAN.

• Visa Resolve Online: Visa Resolve Online (VROL) helps issuers and acquirers (clients) manage the dispute life cycle.
  • Fraud API: Allows an issuer or an acquirer to add a new fraud report.
  • Availability: Restricted

New APIs:

• VisaNet Connect Card Services: Issuers can generate a new card or update card details for existing cardholders.

  • Card Services API: Issuers can generate a new card or update card details for existing cardholders.
    • Card Inquiry: Use this endpoint to inquire on card details. Can be used to get the PAN if only the PRI is sent, or to return the CVV, CVV2, and iCVV values (No PAN will be sent in this scenario).
    • New Card: New Card API. Use this endpoint to request new card credentials. It will generate a PAN (if needed), CVV, CVV2, iCVV, and PAN Reference Identifier (PRI).
    • Card Update: Use this endpoint for PAN replacement and updates to card expiration date.
    • Availability: Public

• Alias Directory Service: Simplify the push payment experience. Link and resolve an Alias to a payment credential.

  • Reports:
    • Download Report: Download the report file information.
    • Get Report Status: Get the status of a create report request.
    • Create Report: Submit a new create report request.
    • Availability: Public
  • Alias Metadata:
    • Get Alias Metadata: This API is used to get aliases metadata.
    • Manage Alias Metadata: Alias Metadata APIs are for remote directories who want to store some data within Alias Directory Service.

New Endpoints:

• Card on File Data Inquiry: Visa capabilities that allow a consumer to view and manage their Visa card through Issuer’s online/mobile.

  • Card-On-File Data Service API: Card-On-File Data API allows to enable digital control capabilities in Issuer’s online mobile application or web application to provide visibility to the consumers where their card (PAN)/token credentials are stored to initiate Card-On-File Data API/e-commerce transactions and where the credentials are updated in case of a card reissuance or token status updates.
    • New Endpoint: Card Inquiry
      • The API will return data layer aggregated at raw merchant name level.
    • Availability: Public

• Alias Directory Service: Simplify the push payment experience. Link and resolve an Alias to a payment credential.

  • Alias Lifecycle Management: These are the API specifications for Alias Directory 2.0
    • New Endpoint: Update Alias Status
      • Update the status of an Alias to active or disabled. A disabled Alias will not be available for Alias resolution.

    • Get the Effective Conversion Rate: This API allows request for an exchange rate for a currency pair. This exchange rate is valid for the duration specified by Rate Expiry Date/Time.

  • Card CVV2: Use the Generate CVV2 for a Card APIs to generate a card verification value 2 (CVV2) for the current card.
    • Generate CVV2 for a Card: This API enables you to generate a CVV2 value for a specific cardId, the last4PrimaryAccountNumber, and its expiration date combination.

New Outbound API:

• DPS Card and Account Services: Supports a set of debit, credit, and prepaid card and account services.
  • **Token Services:**The DPS Token Services enhance cardholder experience for DPS Debit clients
    • Send Passcode: This service is invoked to deliver the OTP to the destination selected by the cardholder, such as an email address, via either the issuer (PI Neg or Forward) or VNS (AP, PAS).
    • Get Cardholder Verification Method: This service allows the issuer to provide supported methods of cardholder step-up authentication, for example, tenured data (cardholder email, phone number) for delivering One-Time-Password (OTP).

  • AP Maintenance Sync: This API will be called by Visa to get the cardholder’s verification methods on file. Message Level Encryption (MLE) is required for this service.
    • AP Maintenance Sync: The AP Maintenance Sync API support DPS AP debit and credit clients. The API provides clients the ability to receive maintenance updates from DPS for a given card or account number.

• Visa Alias Directory Service: Offers capabilities for clients to link Aliases, such as mobile numbers or email addresses, to payment credentials such as cards or bank accounts. Clients can manage the lifecycle of an Alias and resolve an Alias to receive the associated payment credential.
  • **Remote Directories:**Alias Directory offers the capability to connect to Remote Directories via a component called Directory Network Manager.
    • Alias Resolution: Retrieve information about an Alias and the payment credential(s) associated with the Alias.
    • Alias Inquiry: This enables clients to check if an Alias or list of Aliases is available for Alias resolution.
