Turn stablecoins into real products and payment flows
VSP consolidates the capabilities institutional clients need to manage stablecoin activity as part of treasury, settlement, liquidity, or program operations — without stitching together separate wallet, ramp, and approvals vendors.
On-ramps and off-ramps
Convert fiat to stablecoin through dedicated on-ramp accounts, and back to fiat through dedicated off-ramp addresses linked to a registered bank account.
User management
Provision team members, assign roles, and govern who can initiate transfers, manage wallets, or change account settings across your organization.
Approval controls
Maker / checker dual approval, allowlists for destination wallets, and passkey-secured signing on every sensitive operation.
Institutional-grade compliance
Policy configuration, sanctions and compliance screening, and granular permissions built into the platform.
Consistency and visibility for transactions
Whether you’re managing treasury, settling a program or onboarding customers, VSP offers your team consistent visibility and controls across your stablecoin activity. Controls apply based on how you implement VSP, with the full set available through Wallet-as-a-Service.
Conversion
Dollar to stablecoin
Convert between fiat and stablecoin
Route wire or ACH deposits to a specific wallet through a dedicated virtual account, and convert back to fiat through linked off-ramp addresses.
Treasury wallet
Settlement wallet
Manage wallets and move funds
Move stablecoin between wallets across supported networks, with allowlists to control where funds can go (with WaaS).
Settlement complete
Settle programs onchain
Use Open USD and a Visa Wallet-as-a-Service wallet to settle your own programs onchain. Available with Wallet-as-a-Service.
Transfer approved
Secure operations with built-in approvals and protections
Enforce dual approval for sensitive actions such as transfers, account changes, and credential management, and support secure signing of transactions and allowlist updates using device-bound passkeys.
Balance tracker
Monitor activity with real-time visibility
Track balances, active wallets, and on-ramp and off-ramp volumes over time through a centralized dashboard designed to provide ongoing insight into activity and performance.
Built for companies that move money with stablecoins
From crypto-native platforms to banks, VSP fits how your business already operates.
Crypto-native companies
Exchanges, on/off-ramp providers and payment platforms accessing Open USD and stablecoin rails through a single provider.
Fintechs
Embed on-ramps, off-ramps and wallet operations into your customer products.
Financial institutions
Run stablecoin treasury and settlement under existing licensing, with the controls your regulators expect.
Payment companies
Run treasury and settlement programs under existing licensing, while meeting regulatory requirements.
Choose the wallet setup that fits how you operate
VSP supports two paths to production: a fully Visa-managed wallet stack, or an integration with the wallet provider you already use. On-ramps, off-ramps, approvals and the dashboard work the same either way.
Option 1 Wallet-as-a-Service (WaaS)
Get onchain wallets from Visa under your own licensing. Visa provides the secure key-management technology, and you remain your own custodian. Mint, burn, manage and transfer Open USD through VSP, with the full set of controls.
- Visa provides the key-management technology, you hold your keys
- Full mint, burn, manage and transfer
- Allowlists, dual approval and passkey signing
Option 2 Bring Your Own Wallet (BYOW)
Already have a wallet provider? Connect it to VSP to set up on-ramps and off-ramps. Ongoing mint, burn and transfer activity runs through your own wallet provider.
- Keep your existing custody and wallet provider
- Use VSP to set up on-ramps and off-ramps
- Mint, burn and transfers run through your provider

What’s the difference between Wallet-as-a-Service and Bring Your Own Wallet?
With Wallet-as-a-Service, Visa provides the secure key-management technology and you remain your own custodian, with mint, burn, manage, transfer, and controls through VSP. With Bring Your Own Wallet, you keep your existing provider and use VSP to set up on-ramps and off-ramps; ongoing mint, burn and transfers run through your own provider.
Which blockchain networks does VSP support?
Ethereum, Solana, and Tempo today. Core controls (allowlists, maker/checker approvals, passkey signing) apply across them, with WaaS.
How do on-ramps and off-ramps work?
You get a dedicated virtual account, send funds by ACH or wire to on-ramp to Open USD, and off-ramp back to a linked bank account by ACH or wire.
What approval controls does VSP have?
With WaaS, VSP requires maker/checker dual approval on sensitive operations, signs with device-bound passkeys instead of shared credentials, and lets you allowlist destination wallets.
How does VSP relate to Open USD?
VSP is the access point for Open USD. Eligible clients can mint, burn and manage Open USD through VSP. Learn more about Open USD on the Open Standard site.
When is the API available?
The front-end portal and documentation are available now. API access is coming soon, so you can review the portal and specs and plan your integration ahead of time.
How do I get access?
A valid Visa Access ID and a Business Identification (BID) number issued by Visa are required. Your Visa Account Executive can help with this process. To get started, contact your Visa Account Representative.
